Important: We NEVER collect or access your
data without your explicit action. Every piece of data in the app is entered by you.
How We Use Your Information
Your data is used solely to make Wamiga work better for you:
- Period Predictions: Calculate your next
period, ovulation, and fertile windows
- AI Insights: Provide personalized health
recommendations based on your cycle phase
- Cycle Tracking: Display your cycle history
and patterns
- Reminders: Send you notifications about upcoming
periods (if enabled)
- Analytics: Show you trends and insights about
your health
- Community Features: Enable you to connect with
other women (Premium)
We Do NOT: Sell your data, share it with
advertisers, or use it for purposes other than providing you with Wamiga services.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Free Users:
Your data is stored locally on your device using secure, encrypted storage. This
means:
- Your data stays on your phone
- It is NOT synced to the cloud
- If you uninstall the app or lose your device, your
data will be lost
Premium Users:
Premium subscribers can enable cloud sync to:
- Back up your data securely to our encrypted servers
- Access your data across multiple devices
- Protect against data loss
Security: All cloud-synced data is encrypted both
in transit (using HTTPS) and at rest. Only you can access your data with your account
credentials.
When We Share Your Information
We believe your health data belongs to you. Here's when we might share information:
Anonymized Community Insights:
- Aggregated, anonymous statistics (e.g., "80% of users
experience cramps during menstruation")
- Your personal identity is never revealed
Community Posts (Premium):
- Posts and comments you choose to share publicly in the
community
- Other premium users can see your display name and profile photo
Service Providers:
- Cloud hosting services (for Premium users) - encrypted and secure
- Payment processors (for Premium subscriptions) - we never
see your payment details
Legal Requirements:
- If required by law or to protect our users' safety
Never: We will NEVER sell your personal health data
to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
Your Privacy Rights
You have complete control over your data:
- Export Your Data: Download all your health
data at any time (Settings → Export Data)
- Delete Your Data: Permanently delete your
account and all associated data (Settings → Delete Account)
- Modify Your Data: Edit or remove any tracked
information
- Control Features: Enable/disable cloud sync,
AI insights, or community features
- Opt Out: Choose not to participate in
anonymized analytics
Third-Party Services
Wamiga uses the following third-party services:
- Analytics: To understand app usage and
improve features (anonymized data only)
- Crash Reporting: To fix bugs and improve app
stability (no personal health data shared)
- Ads (Free Version): Ad providers may collect device
information but never your health data
These services have their own privacy policies. We carefully select partners who respect user
privacy.
How Long We Keep Your Data
- Active Accounts: Your data is kept as long as
your account is active
- Deleted Accounts: Data is permanently deleted
within 30 days of account deletion
- Anonymized Data: Aggregated, non-identifiable
statistics may be retained for research
Children's Privacy
Wamiga is designed for individuals aged 13 and older. If you're under 13, please don't use the app.
If you're between 13-17, we recommend using the app with parental guidance.
How We Protect Your Data
We take security seriously:

and during transmission
- Secure Servers: Cloud data is stored on
industry-standard secure servers
- Authentication: Secure login protects your
account
